The Coronas and Walking on Cars to headline Galway Arts Festival 2014

The Coronas and Walking on Cars will headline The Galway Arts Festival 2014 by playing the famous “Big Top” on July 19th. The Galway Arts Festival is Ireland’s largest annual arts festival and attracts visitors from all around the world. The festival, which was founded in 1978 is a dazzling display of music, theatre, literature, dance, visual arts and comedy. The 2014 festival which will take place between the 14th and 27th of July will showcase over 500 acts which will include musicians, theatre performers, dancers and comedians.



The Coronas and Walking on Cars show will take place in the famous “Big Top” tent which will be located on the picture perfect banks of the Rover Corrib. Both bands had an extremely successful year in 2013; The Coronas supported Bon Jovi at Slane Castle and headlined The Rose of Tralee festival whilst Walking on Cars shot to fame after the release of  “Catch Me If You Can” and had to announce extra dates for their fully sold out Irish tour. 2014 is also looking to be a major year for both act with numerous high profile concerts coming up. It looks like home grown Irish talent is finally getting the recognition it deserves. Tickets for The Big Top cost €43.95 including booking fee and are available from Ticketmaster now.
